Outreach Program

Everyone spends 1/3 of their lives sleeping; we are committed to helping you spend the other 2/3’s living.

Following this belief the Corpus Christi Sleep Center established a state of the art Sleep Related Breathing Disorders Laboratory in Corpus Christi, Texas. Our facilities have the capability of providing diagnostic sleep testing that allows the physicians to make an accurate and timely diagnosis, with the data to direct subsequent treatment related options for patients exhibiting sleep related breathing disorders. Our facilities and our sleep program are under the Clinical Directorship of a Diplomat of the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

The Corpus Christi Sleep Center also offers Sleep Testing/Disease Management Services through our unique” Outreach Program.”

The “Outreach Program” was developed using American Academy of Sleep Medicine accreditation standards addressing testing procedures, patient-safety, quality care, and measurable outcomes. Through our “Outreach Program” facilities that once thought sleep testing services were not an option due to costs, can now offer a quality driven, cost-effective, profitable program that enhances the facilities image and allows patients in their community to be tested for sleep related breathing disorders.

Our “Outreach Program” allows contracted facilities the ability to begin testing patients within 30 to 60 days. Each contracted facility is provided with a Policy and Procedure manual designed to meet AASM accreditation standards. Our program also provides contracted facilities with Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement data designed to address state or accreditation concerns. We use advanced data transfer technology to ensure turn around time for interpretation of tests is accomplished below industry average times and meets all Federal HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality. We only utilize Registered Polysomnographic Technologists to perform a manual Epoch by Epoch analysis for the scoring of all sleep tests performed in our facilities.
